I think you should consider living with your real dad. Staying at your house listening to suicidal music and cutting yourself is a horrible way to live. Make plans for your future (college/job/house) and do things to get closer to your goals. Work on taking care of yourself. How can I train myself to sleep on my back?

Well through out the night I switch positions, but I always wake up on my back.I am a rough sleeper, but only sometimes. I would recommend wrapping yourself tightly in a blanket while you are on your back that way you would be less likely to move. Or you could surround the side of your body with pillows so that you are less likely to roll. Or you could get a special pillow that could not apply pressure to the face but sort of be like a foam that shapes to the form of your head.

I'm buying my friend and aspirin Army Ranger s knife before he goes off to West Point this summer and I figured that I'd get him one that has the Ranger patch on it (I know that he couldn't carry it around at WP or until he does become a Ranger but I think it'll be a nice gift). AnimeNEXT convention help? Has anyone been to one?

I found on the internet an animeNEXT convention coming up where I live. I've never been to a convention before, so I'm not sure about what to expect. Do you have to be in cosplay to enter, or can you come in regular clothes? I'm not into entering any events, just watching them, especially the Masquerade (I've viewed some on Youtube). My friend is coming with me and we both have the event planned out. Is it extremely crowded to the point where you have to etch your way to different facilities (like a concert-crowded)? Is my mom cheating, or am i just being paranoid?

Well, it sorta all started out like a year ago. My dad had taken some private golf lessons and my mom, me, and my brother did too, when my dad suggested that he was good. Well, for some reason, my mom just got involved in talking with him. She would text him all the time, like everyday, and they haven't known each other for very long. He would always tell her his personal problems, and when she told me some of what he told her, she would always say,"Don't tell your dad." i would ask why, and she would, kinda hesitantly, say that he would think its weird, but for some reason i didn't believe her. And then one day i told her he had a Facebook. She acted sorta surprised and i guess happy. So she started getting onto Facebook a lot (and she used to never care about it). Now, when she gets on, she wont let me see what shes doing on there. She'll turn the phone away so i can't see, or she'll sit in a corner when shes on her phone. :( I need to know. I think i'm just being paranoid about it, but i wanna make sure. I don't wanna ask my dad if he noticed anything, cause i don't wanna make him worry. My mom once told me that dad had asked her to stop texting him, and she got sorta like annoyed. Not really mad, just....annoyed i guess. Ever since then she hasn't told me anything about him. I was a combat medic in an infamous detention facility in Iraq. It's been 4 years now since retuning home. There was no welcome home party. Just getting high and drunk with old friends. I come from an Asian household first generation and the two worlds don’t mix. My father had many harsh words after he found out that I went to the war front. Only losers and people without brains go and fight other people’s battles for pay. I was raised in the states since I was five today I’m 38 almost homeless if not for my parents garage. You can only imagine how that makes me feel. 38 living in the garage of my parent’s home though I have found employment as an EMT. Everyday the job brings me back to the war and seeing the old folks at the con homes bring me down another notch. Everyday is blood and death all over again. I've gotten into troubles with the law and might be losing my job soon. I was never into smoking weed but more of a drinker. I didn’t work for the first 2 years living off of the deployment money. It was difficult trying to hang out with old friends. I couldn’t laugh at the same jokes or have a good time. The panic attacks are getting worst and I can not control my anxieties any longer. Everyday is so much harder to pretend that I’m perfectly fine and happy. I began withdrawing and isolating myself from the crowd and belief it’s starting to affect my thought processes. I’m having difficulty sleeping maybe because I’m worried all the time about this and that. But thanks to J&D it knocks me out just fine. When I do sleep I can stay in bed four a couple of days. In the 4 years, I’ve gotten in trouble with the law twice. Now the courts want me to go through group psychological counseling down at the VA. It’s getting harder and harder to wake up and face the day and thoughts of suicide run through my head constantly. My self esteem is at it’s lowest. I’ve thought about it and did some checking on google for a fast and painless way go. I found the Japanese suicide detergent thing by mixing two key ingredients to make the lethal gas or 00 buck shot up the roof of the mouth into the brain. It’s fast and painless. I will not leave a note behind because that to me is pointless at my age. Belief me when I say I've always strive to better myself in school as well sports. That's not always the answer. I bought a raft off of craigslist and know a good place at the beach where I can row out and do my deed. I don’t want to leave traces of what had happen to me. I just want to disappear and know soon i'll be forgotten and it's what i want. Life seems so worthless to me now and I really don't care anymore. I know I don’t want to die but also that I don’t know how to live. I’m 38 years old and a loser. Darwin was right about survival of the fittest and the weak soon die off. GOD have mercy on my soul.

I would like help identifying the manufacturer and age of a vintage briar wood smoking pipe which has the following markings on it: 1) the letters "O.D." inside an oval with the words "DE LUXE" underneath stamped/etched on the flue (the tube shaped extension of the bowl that the stem inserts into). It has a leather trimmed case with a plush gold inner lining, and a red oval paper stamp inside with the letters "O.D." on it. I have found information on Pipewiki stating that Dunhill stamped their pipes "OD" if they were designed by a customer in which case it stood for "Own Design". Dunhill :OD" pipes are supposedly very collectible and I'd like to confirm that the pipe I have is in fact a Dunhill. There are no other markings anywhere else on the pipe or case that would indicate Dunhill manufacture. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My self cofindence has gone?

I used to be really confident through out primary school, i used to do as many activities as i can with people, speak to everyone without worrying what to say. But ever since my brother died, i feel all my confidence has gone completely, not just because he has died but he used to praise me, tell me how good i was, we had a very strong bond, i still find it very hard to imagine i'm never going to see him again. Also my best friend, she had literally no confidence what so ever! So i used to boost her up all the time, now she has more confidence than me, she has a perfect boyfriend, and way more friends than what i do! I'm not blaming her but i also feel all my confidence has been given to her, now she over shadows me. So socially i'm scared of opening up, speaking my opinion, standing up for myself, so pretty much getting out of my shell. I am scared of speaking to people, sometimes i feel i have to tell lies so they would want to have interest in me, because i feel if i just be myself than i'm going to be boring. Because of this, i tend to only speak to people that i feel comfortable with, or people that i don't know who doesn't know me, so i don't have to be the person i am at high school. It's really weird because you wouldn't think i do drama, i absolutely love acting, and when i'm acting i suddenly do get this rush of confidence, i think it's because i don't have to be me, i'm pretending to be someone else. Also sometimes when i look at myself i think i do look pretty, i buy the nicest clothes and do my makeup nicely. But other times i feel so disgusting, i pick out all my imperfections reminding myself that's why that boy doesn't like you..I know i'm only 15 but i haven't had a proper boyfriend, so haven't really kissed anyone. Even though i'm told im pretty, and that i could be a model, i just feel if i had a boyfriend than maybe i can start believing this complements.. I could go on further more, but this is a quick sum up on how I feel, i don't know whether this is an issue for me to see someone, or if there's anyway i could boost up my cofindence by myself? please help many thanks!!!

I have taken it off... because... I dont know, maybe its vanity or whatever... this seems like the stupidest thing ever, but it was over a guy I liked. I just lost ight of all my principles and fell so deep. Anyway, when taking if off, it was a huge step for me, like I felt like I had just left the house stripped or something. Everyone knew me before this to be a respectable girl, now they look at me like im going off the rails or something due to the way I dress. It just does somthing to me, wether its jeleousy or what, I dont know. I feel like, 'how the hell do you know whats in my heart'.. and just because a person doesnt wear the scarf doesnt mean there bad people. The sad thing is... I want to wear it. Its almost a battle whithin me, one side pulling me to wear it and forget people mocking me thinking 'make ur mind up' and 'oh she's have it off in a years time'... and the other sides telling me 'u dont suit the scarf, your job contradicts everything about islam so whats the point wearing it, ur making urself look stupid''.. etc. Hope I made sense.

i used to apply hair oil on daily basis(i.e. no washing hair after oil massage) when i was a kid. but now i don't really lyk having oily hair always.....i hv long and silky hair bt nw i've stopped using oil daily and i just use it on weekends and then wash them.Bt because of dat i'm having serious HAIR FALL(never had such before),,,SPLIT ENDS,plus a bit dandruff!!!!and there is not the same shine in my hair as it used to be.they've becum rough! When I first meet a guy and we go on a date, I try to let them know that they don't have to spend lots of cash on me to impress me. Can i glass etch using home-made designs cut out of masking tape?

I'd suggest trying whatever you buy first on scrap, to make sure that the tape you are using isn't going to react with the cream. Maybe run a test on a variety of possibles at once, as something like painter's tape might be better.

so im 18 years old (girl) and 5"4 and weigh about 50kg. I hv a huge pot belly. Lol. It measures around 33inches at the belly. Am i fat? Recently i have noticed the pot has become bigger. Why do guys think all girls gossip and be all frilly and girly?
